Barista Course

 

Overview

The Barista course will provide learners with information on how to extract and serve espresso coffee using a commercial coffee machine. The course will include how to store coffee and the cleaning and maintaining of equipment. The unit applies to hospitality and catering operations where espresso coffee is served. The Barista course will also provide learners with information on food contamination and cross contamination, and following food safety procedures within the workplace. This course is suitable for people who wish to work in the coffee industry as a espresso machine operator/ barista.

This is an Entry Level Course. There is no pre-requisites for entry into this course. A reasonable understanding of English.
